Do you want to prepare easy peasy sweet for some festival or you want to prepare easy and yet delicious desert for a party? No worries!! Just with these few ingredients you can prepare this delicious sumptuous “paneer ka kheer” in less than 15 mins.

Ingredients:

  1. sweetened condensed milk (2 cups)
  2. Paneer (200g) Grated
  3. Milk (2 cups)
  4. Few strands of saffron (kesar)
  5. cardamom powder
  6. 2tbsp chopped almonds
  7. 2tbsp chopped pistachios
  8. 2 tbsp raisins

Method :

  1. Take 2 cups of milk in a heavy bottom pan and boil on medium-low heat.
  2. Add, few strands of saffron.
  3. Keep stirring and cleaning the sides, so that milk does not burn at bottom.
  4. Once the milk is reduced to half, add 2 cups of sweetened condensed milk to the pan and mix well.
  5. Keep it boiling for 2-3 mins.
  6. Now, add cardamom powder, chopped nuts and raisins and boil for 1 min.
  7. Add grated paneer to the pan and switch off the gas.
  8. Let the pan be on heat and cover the pan. (allows slow cooking on heat).
  9. Paneer kheer is ready.
  10. Once is it cooled down, put it in refrigerator.
  11. Serve chilled, garnished with some chopped pistachios.

Notes: Do not boil milk after adding paneer, it might spoil milk.
