These are very simple ways how we can make feed ourselves and our kids nutritious meals.
Disclaimers:
- If your child has some special needs or some pre-existing health condition, please check out with your paeditrician before hand.
- Check for nut allergy before consuming or feeding almond flour.
- You can increase or decrease the amount of ingredients based on your requirements and tastes. But, these amounts are tried ones for better quality of rotis. Also, I have tried to keep amounts optimum and not overdo, to keep it under notice from my children. You know how smart kids are, they can figure out and go on food strike. ??
- If you have a habit of adding salt to your roti dough, you can go ahead with it. I personally do not add salt to my roti dough, to avoid habbit of taking excessive sodium.
What I do?
I practice one combination each day. This way 5 days of week, my kids gets variety to eat. It helps:
- Easy to check if any ingredient triggers any allergy.
- Balanced nutrition in a whole week
- It will make kids not to expect any pattern and hence not avoid the food. (I know it is funny, but all moms thinks this way ??)
